How I Spend My Friday Nights

Thought I would share.......

This is my house at (8pm) on an exciting Friday night. I used the flash on this pic,
and if you look closely, you can tell that Scooby Doo ( he's the one that has taken the futon as his own, notice the fancy futon cover? ) doesn't like the flash being used,

so I tried not to make the same mistake with this guy.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ **As a side note:
I know that the cushion on the futon is kinda crushed on one side but Scooby Doo DOES like to look out the window."
So I flip it and flip it and flip it and ... well you know ☺ **I do hope to have some clay pics to post after the weekend** *** IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MY OWOH POST CLICK HERE **

Anyone can enter, but if you have an active blog, all the better. I must have a way to contact you , either via email or blog. I will be drawing a winner, using the random number doodad, on Feb 14th. Winner will be contacted and posted on Feb 15th.

For a chance to win Jasper, you just need to leave a comment on this post.
Jasper is a baby dragon and is still far too young to have sprouted his wings, so he will be relying on his magic carpet to get to you.

A.D.D. is alive and well at my house

It started out all innocent like. I wanted to try my hand at some buttons. I figured it would be a good opportunity to try some of the surface techniques from this book by Ellen Marshall.

(Love it, by the way. What I wouldn't give to take a class. OK, I'm wandering again.....)

Back to the buttons. I was trying to decide the best size to make. I wanted to go big but not too big. So I thought maybe I will make something to show as an example of what you can do with these large buttons.

I decided to go with crochet, since I am pretty decent with that, thanks to my late Grandma Dubberke. (She tried like hell to teach me to knit, but I sucked so badly that she finally settled on crochet. I don't think I let her down.)

There I go again...OK, back to the subject. I started with this neckwarmer and fell in love with the pattern.
(Thank you Danielle, for being my model. I know I told you I would crop the photos, but these were just too cute :-)

Then this one...

Then, I had to try a chun…
