Hello Internet ~ I've missed you☺

Be warned... I'm feeling a bit chatty☺

So....
A few  weeks ago Hubby decided
 that he needed faster internet.

(we really don't, but he thinks we do. If it's available he's got to have it)
(I seriously think it's a guy thing.  What.ever.)

So a couple of weeks ago they came out to upgrade the
lines so we could get the faster speeds, per my husband's request.
They did the "outside work" on Tuesday the 23rd
and they would be out on Saturday to do the "inside work".
After they were done messing with the wiring
on Tuesday (while we were both at work)
we had NO internet connection.
I was patient ~ Hubby was apologetic and we waited until Saturday,
at which time we found out that we had the wrong wiring coming
from the "source" to the house and that they
don't do anything "structure to structure"
so WE would have to run the correct wiring before they could proceed.
(Apparently the guys that did the outside work would have known
about the wiring issue and should have stopped and let us know then.)
(The guy that came out on Saturday was kinda miffed at them.
Since it was a total waste of time for him to drive out here
and it's not a quick drive at. all.)

We ran the wiring on Sunday, called the phone company on Monday and
found out that the soonest they could come out would be that Friday. AARG!!
Luckily, we are have internet at the shop so I was able to do the
banking and bill paying I needed to do, since I have that all
set up to do online.

Well, now I am back so.......
on to some fun stuff☺

While I was on my little "hiatus" I received this cutie pie
from my BSBP partner Sheryl Stephens
of The Babbling Beader
It's a pin and I love it.
Thank you Sheryl!

I also finished some focal beads
I love ~ love ~ love these!
I think I will list some in the shop in a day or two☺

And I finished my
 Year of Jewelry Project piece
for Week 17
Now I am off to finish my piece for Week 18
since it is technically due today☺

  1. Your beads were featured on my Pinterest page. Had to comment that they are GORGEOUS. i CREATE in Polymer, also, but it was good to see someone else's work for a change -work that I truly admire. thank you for posting-yes, you ought to sell them. I have been away from my polymer designs for a few years, and just getting back into it now, so you inspired me. I am trying to find bezels in sterling that are not ordinary shapes, & having difficulty. Do you think all polymer people also make their own bezels? I took a class in copper smith work last year, and simply hate cutting metal, so want premades, & apparently not easy to find except standard. If you ever run across anyone selling what I am seeking, please let me know. I love your story about the wiring-nice to know that similar "Murphy's Law" stuff happens to others-sometimes you feel you are the only one and the Devil is nipping on your heels. warmest regards, pauli beverly hills

  2. Pauli, you should try PMC. Similar to polymer in that it is clay and you can mold it and make it into your own bezel shapes. Just a thought!
