Summertime is such a busy time, the good kind of busy☺ In addition to yard work and gardening, Hubs and I went to a family reunion in Washington (state) It was awesome☺ I am also in the process of pulling out all of the old carpet in the house to get ready for the new carpet install next week. YAY! AND, we are in the planning stages of putting in a foundation for the  NEW greenhouse that should be arriving in about a month. YAY ~ YAY!☺ (I am so flipping excited !!!!) Busy ~ busy! I thought I would share some pics of my tomatoes. I know what you're thinking Oooohhh! Delphiniums are delicious! Aren't they just the cutest! So precious! Just the sweetest little family! But..... This, my friends, is evil in a 'cute suit'! "What proof do you have that this precious, adorable creature is evil?" you may ask . Well...... Before. After. Before. After.   I will spare you the rest of the carnage. Let's just say that this year I planted a giant moose salad bar;~(

I actually didn't quite know what to do with myself this weekend;~) Every weekend lately has been about "The Garden" I was able to finish planting last weekend, and since it was a three day weekend, I also had the time to catch up on  some of the more pressing house cleaning duties☺ This Saturday it rained all day so I didn't even have to water the garden, so besides the usual weekend stuff like laundry and such I was pretty much a lady of leisure☺ I thought this would be a good time to show what all we've  accomplished on the garden area. I'll start with a quick recap of how it all started Two years ago, we did this. Tilled under the entire yard and started over. We separated it into different sections ~ The "Patio Area" with a fire pit, and an area for raised garden beds where the trees make it nearly impossible to grow decent grass. We left the garden area unfinished because, honestly, we were pretty much exhausted☺ The ...

It took me WAY longer than it should have, I'm sure, but the new website is up and running! This one is sea glass. It is a pretty simple wrap and it went relatively quickly so I was able to post it on time...just under the wire☺ (ha! see what I did there)
